Biography

Dr. Ben Capell is an executive coach and senior consultant in organizational development. He helps senior leaders and teams regain clarity, confidence, and effectiveness in high-stakes, complex environments — by focusing on how leadership is experienced, not just how it’s intended. His main areas of coaching expertise include leadership development, team performance, collaboration, navigating cross-cultural differences, transition to a new role, confidence and inclusion.

Ben brings over 20 years of consultancy and coaching experience. He has designed and implemented large-scale people management initiatives in a variety of global organizations. Ben brings unique in-house expertise from his experience at Hewlett-Packard, where he headed regional and global roles in the areas of leadership development and talent management. His consultancy track record comprises a wide portfolio of successful projects with a diverse range of organizations, such as Google, Marriott, Pirelli, Nike, Danfoss, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Cathay Pacific, Roche-—delivering impactful, sustainable results across sectors.

With a background in psychology, a PhD in management sciences, and a global career spanning roles in Hong Kong, the U.S., Japan, Israel, Spain, Indonesia, and Turkey, Ben brings deep cross-cultural insights. Ben speaks various languages, including English, Hebrew, Spanish, Catalan, and Japanese, and has led multicultural teams across diverse geographies. Additionally, he collaborates with leading academic institutions, including the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Hong Kong Baptist University.
