David Ehrmann brings over 25 years of coaching experience to the AIIR Team. Executives, leadership teams, and individuals alike have benefited from his clear and empathic coaching style. He excels at asking the questions that clear a path for clients to find their own solutions. David’s singular vision and proficient listening skills empower clients to embark on voyages of self-discovery. He prides himself on bringing fresh thinking to each coaching session, enabling him to tailor his approach to the client’s desired outcomes.
He is passionate about helping others plan and live fulfilling lives on purpose. Over the last 25 years, David has worked with leaders across a spectrum of fields, including technology, finance, education, publication, science, consulting, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals. Regardless of industry or corporate culture, all individuals have one thing in common: they must work with each other, and David’s message is clear and consistent. He believes that the only thing you can control is yourself. He is a former member of management at Motorola, Lockheed Martin Commercial Electronics, and Harvard Community Health Plan. David has also served on the adjunct Communication faculty at Northeastern University and was a lead instructor within John Hancock’s corporate training function. In addition to his coaching work at AIIR, David serves as an executive coach through Harvard Business School’s Executive Education programs.
David’s road to coaching expertise started at Emerson College, where he laid the foundation in interpersonal communication. Building on this content-rich experience, he studied to become a rabbi at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in both Israel and Cincinnati, Ohio. He is certified to use the Leadership Multi-Rater Assessment of Personality (LMAP) and the Performance Support System’s 20/20 Insight Gold Assessment. David also served on PSS’s Advisory Board.
