Kerry Bunker is a seasoned Leadership Coach, Team Facilitator, Organizational Consultant, Leadership Scholar, Author and Keynote Speaker. He brings more than three decades of experience in the leadership development field and has coached/trained thousands of executives in Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, educational institutions and nonprofits. His personal coaching client list includes CEOs, Presidents and Vice-presidents from private and public sector organizations in the United States, Europe and Canada.

Kerry spent 23 years on the internal staff at the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) where he was designated a Senior Fellow for his leadership of C-suite coaching, expertise in authenticity and change leadership, contributions to the understanding and enhancement of learning agility, and seminal research on managerial stress and coping. Part of his role involved directing the Awareness Program for Executive Excellence (APEX), CCL’s intensive 18-month assessment and coaching experience for C-Suite executives. The Conference Board has also recognized Kerry as a Senior Fellow in Human Capital Development.

Building on his experience at CCL, Kerry’s firm offers executive coaching as well as experiential learning for senior leaders confronting the challenge of providing authentic leadership during tumultuous times of change and uncertainty. For example, during his tenure at CCL, Kerry directed intensive senior-level change leadership initiatives involving 2000 executives spanning all departments of the Canadian Federal Public Service and with the 800 key leaders charged with guiding the transformation of the United States Postal Service.

Kerry is a firm believer in the use of assessment tools and interviews to enhance self-awareness, and to unlock new pathways for continuous learning and growth. His research and practice in learning from experience and learning agility helped shape his approach to leadership development and coaching. He is known for helping his clients uncover and leverage critical insights into who they are, how they came to be that way, and what it will take to move the needle on the pivotal skills, behaviors and relationships impacting their leadership performance (and their total lives) during life’s powerful inflection moments.

Kerry is an Industrial/Organizational Psychologist having received his Ph.D. from the University of South Florida. He is certified in countless assessment instruments including the Hogan Battery, Integrative9 Enneagram, WorkPlace Big Five, CPI-260, FIRO-B, Element B, Denison Leadership and Culture Surveys, and all CCL 360’s. In addition, he has authored 4 books and more than 50 chapters and articles on topics such as authentic leadership, learning agility, executive coaching, and coping with stress.

Kerry currently resides in the Nashville, TN area with his wife and border collie.
