Previously, Tonushree served as the SVP/Head of Talent at the Hudson’s Bay Company (Saks 5th Avenue, Lord & Taylor, Off Fifth, HBC). There, she led initiatives in Talent Management, Leadership Development, Change Management, and Communications. She successfully implemented a new common culture, revamped performance management processes, and spearheaded three leadership programs for top-level executives.
Before joining HBC, Tonushree held the position of North American Practice Leader of Leadership & Organization Performance at Mercer Consulting, where she was a partner as well. In this role, she led a team of experts specializing in CEO/Board Effectiveness, Leadership Development, HR Transformation, and Talent Management. Working with esteemed clients such as Verizon, MasterCard, Kimberly Clark, DropBox, Tata Communications, Unilever, AB-InBev, Fidelity Investments, Johnson & Johnson, and more, she shaped talent strategies and executed programs that drove success.
Tonushree spent her early career years in Asia, collaborating with multinational companies with local operations and local clients expanding globally. Her experience encompasses a wide range of talent and rewards projects. She began her HR journey as an HR Business Partner in a large manufacturing organization, gaining hands-on expertise in recruitment, training, industrial relations, and business partnering.
