With over 30 years of experience combining leadership, human resources, organization effectiveness and executive coaching in multiple industries and Fortune 500 companies, Dr. Vic Settergren had developed a history of building solid trusted advisor relationships with executives and leaders at all levels. This experience is particularly useful to leaders transitioning to higher level roles, those with need to address significant organizational culture change, and those that find themselves responsible for business turnaround.

With a Doctoral degree in Organization Development and Change from Benedictine University and an MBA from University of St. Francis, Vic has strong business and organizational experience in developing business strategy and helping leaders and their teams align and execute those strategies. These have been demonstrated in sectors including Defense, Medical, Pharma, Utility, as well as with several community pro-bono efforts. His education and experience has provided capability for unique and creative approaches in all of these settings.

In his most recent role as Director of Global Talent Development in Raytheon, Vic was responsible for all leadership development programs and accelerating the development of all succession candidates. He was personally responsible for the assessment and development coaching of successor candidates to VP and President level roles, as well as that of current executives. He also coordinated coaching strategies with both internal and external to support those efforts.

As an executive coach, he has assisted executives to assess team strength, develop strategies for change, and identify leading indicators to assure progress in execution. He strives to assure alignment of the client’s personal values and aspirations with decisions and actions that are developed out of the coaching relationship. The outcome is to assure that the client achieves their goal while building the credibility and executive presence that is desired.
