Alessandra L. Ghini
Alessandra brings over 25 years experience in building businesses with an emphasis on strategy, brand, marketing communications, program development and product marketing. She has worked in house, acted as a consultant, and as an executive coach.
Alessandra started her career in technology, working for Macromedia (now Adobe), HandSpring and Apple. While at Apple, Alessandra led the marketing communications team for software, music and services, and drove world-changing product launches including the iPod mini, the iTunes music store and iTunes for Windows.
Since 2008, Alessandra has been working as a consultant and executive coach. She led teams at boutique consulting firms SY Partners, Embarcadero Partners and GO Strategy Partners, where she focused on the intersection of leadership, strategy and culture. At SY Partners, Alessandra led a long-term engagement with Starbucks to redefine the brand strategy in anticipation of their 40th anniversary. The work she led resulted in significant internal changes as well as an external change signaled by their new logo. At Embarcadero Partners, she led marketing positioning projects for Dell Corporation, including rethinking and aligning the positioning and messaging after the merger of two business units. She is a co-founder of GO Strategy Partners and has continued to work with Fortune 500 companies, NGOs and small to mid size organizations.
Alessandra works with clients to identify their challenges, address them through clear business strategies and build alignment throughout the organization to implement change. She is a creative problem solver: known for deconstructing sophisticated business scenarios into straightforward actionable solutions. As an executive coach, Alessandra blends her creativity with her deep business experience. Through engagements including Starbucks, Autodesk, VANS, Amazon, Old Navy and International Rescue Committee, Alessandra has partnered with executives in helping them maximize their personal and professional potential in order to define and achieve their goals. She has led executive level engagements in Sales, Marketing, Product marketing, H.R./Culture, and leadership engagement in small start-ups as well as large corporations. She enjoys the long-lasting partnerships she builds with her clients.
Alessandra has a deep passion for the creative and culinary arts and currently sits on the board of the Ansel Adams Foundation. She is an advisor for the Eat Real Festival and Omnivore Salt.
