Andrew Smith is the Head of Leadership Development at AIIR Consulting. In his role, Andrew collaborates with global learning leaders, talent managers, and instructional designers to design strategies and training programs that result in lasting behavior change. Andrew believes in the power of people, the gift of lifelong learning, and that true behavior shifts are born from human-centered design.
Andrew has designed face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid learning and behavior change programs at a diverse range of Fortune 100 companies, including Microsoft, Nike, NFL, Wal-Mart, Google, and Kaiser Permanente, to name a few. He holds special certificates in design thinking, gamification, LEAN Six Sigma, and behavioral interviewing.
Andrew holds an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Florida International University and a B.A. in Psychology from Wake Forest University. In his spare time, you can find Andrew on hikes with his wife, Monica, and Australian Shepherd, Stevie Nicks. You can also find him teaching in the Wake Forest University MBA Program or coaching high school football.
