
Blake Macko
Blake Macko is the Learning & Development Manager at AIIR Consulting, where he works closely with the Director of Product Innovation to develop structure and content for program offerings and provides support to coaches and facilitators. He is currently enrolled in a master’s program for Industrial-Organizational Psychology at La Salle University, where his coursework has focused on leadership development, team effectiveness, change management, work motivation and attitude. Blake’s curious spirit drives his growth. After graduating with honors from Vassar College with a BA in Italian and Philosophy, he spent several years doing wellness work as a meditation guide, breath coach, yoga teacher and massage therapist. He is a passionate advocate for normalizing self-care in the workplace, and believes that adopting simple mindfulness techniques can improve many aspects of work, including stress management, communication skills, and rational decision-making. He has been actively involved in the Breathing AIIR Mindfulness community, and is committed to developing mindfulness-based leadership development programs, as well as infusing conscious communication into team culture within organizations. He pledges to do his part to uproot systemic racism and create safe spaces for members of groups that have historically been denied power, recognition, and voice.
