After graduating with honors from Vassar College with a BA in Italian and Philosophy, he spent several years doing wellness work as a meditation guide, breath coach, yoga teacher and massage therapist. He is a passionate advocate for normalizing self-care in the workplace, and believes that adopting simple mindfulness techniques can improve many aspects of work, including stress management, communication skills, and rational decision-making. He has been actively involved in the Breathing AIIR Mindfulness community, and is committed to developing mindfulness-based leadership development programs, as well as infusing conscious communication into team culture within organizations. He pledges to do his part to uproot systemic racism and create safe spaces for members of groups that have historically been denied power, recognition, and voice.
