Jim Trunick
Jim is the author of the highly acclaimed The CORE of Leadership®. He is on faculty (leadership studies) at Brandman/Chapman University. He also serves on the Brandman Business School advisory board.
Prior to joining AIIR, Jim was the VP and on the Board of Directors with LTEN and through 36 years corporate business experience includes success as Executive Director Global Training, Regional Operations, U.S. Product Marketing and Professional Relations. He created and established the commercial leadership development division at Allergan. He has presented and led leadership development in over 20 countries with 20,000 people, including U.K., Malaysia, Canada, India, Australia, Thailand and China. Jim’s clients include Allergan, Saks Fifth Avenue, Comcast Cable, Union Bank, NYK global shipping, Gilead, Lord & Taylor, Echelon Group, United Biologics, Genentech and other multi-national groups.
Jim’s philosophy of leadership being the defense and promotion of our values against life’s challenges, has benefited himself and clients at home and work. Jim is passionate about leadership, as he believes our success and failures are tested through knowing and practicing high standard leadership during important business challenges and crisis. His clients have gained specific action steps and new perspectives shaping their values, impacting their purpose and philosophy of their own leadership style. They become masters of their 5 C’s –Change management, Collaboration Skills, Conflict, Choices they make and outstanding Communication Influence.

Jim is and has served on the Board of Directors for Brandman University, LTEN, Mount of Olives Trust Foundation, and Operation Homefront. He is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a B.S. in Zoology. Jim and his wife Cindy, are raising five children in Laguna Hills, California.
