Jeff Kaplan has been working in the fields of consulting and psychology for 30 years. Jeff brings 15 years of coaching, training, and consulting to AIIR. Jeff has coached hundreds of managers and executives on issues related to emotional intelligence, particularly self- and organizational awareness, executive presence, and relationship management. As an executive coach, he is known for his innovative approaches to helping managers and executives break free from habitual thought and behavior patterns and think, decide, and act mindfully. Jeff has consulted across a broad spectrum of industries, including healthcare, manufacturing, finance and banking, biotech, pharmaceuticals, technology, education, law, government, retail, and communication.
Jeff has created various leadership development and train-the-trainer programs, led cultural change initiatives, and trained and supervised facilitators and coaches. He created a coaching program for Penn State’s Smeal College of Business EMBA students; coaches Wharton MBA and Executive MBA students; cofounded Breakthrough Coaching, a company focused on teaching advanced coaching skills to experienced coaches; started and oversees the coaching division for the Habit Change Company, which provides health coaching to hospital patients, executives, and managers; co-developed and teaches a 125-hour coach training program; and helped spearhead a three-year leadership development program for a billion-dollar healthcare system located in Philadelphia, PA.
Jeff is certified in numerous assessment instruments, including the Hay Group Emotional Intelligence Inventory (ECI), Booth 360, VOICES 360, Hogan Assessment, MBTI, DISC, and many others.
