Uzma is a Senior Executive Coach at AIIR. She is outcome-driven, focusing on nurturing creative leadership in senior executives, including Directors, VPs, and C-suite leaders responsible for guiding cross-functional teams.
Uzma enjoys partnering with passionate, curious, and driven task-oriented leaders who want to upgrade their internal model of leadership from ‘command and control’ to empowering others. Uzma has coached over 70 new directors since 2022 and co-facilitated an innovative leadership development program at management consultancy Capgemini Invent.
As part of a critical investment into developing future leaders, Uzma was selected and subsequently extended to coach a cohort of future Managing Directors at the world’s second-largest investment bank, Goldman Sachs. Notably, she's worked with C-suite leaders in insurance, energy and not-for-profit sectors and with Executive Leaders in health and biotech.
What is unique about Uzma is her grounded executive presence. Uzma creates trust and safety with her clients, allowing them to make confident personal and professional choices towards fulfilling their ambitions.
A former award-winning communicator with 20 years of communications and change management consulting experience, Uzma has successfully delivered change and communications engagements for blue-chips across finance, pharma, and professional services, including two of the Big 4.
She has coached international senior leaders in communication, storytelling, and presentations, both internally and externally, and created purposes for well-known companies, including M&As and divestments.
In 2016, Uzma moved from the UK to Switzerland, where she was headhunted for a role in communications at the Leadership Team level at Syngenta. Her last role before becoming a full-time Executive Coach was as an Executive Communications Lead at Roche Headquarters, coaching senior directors to develop and communicate their vision with clarity.
