Biography

Michelle Machado is an executive coach and organizational consultant with over 17 years of cross-sector, international experience. She holds an MS in Executive Coaching and Organizational Consulting from NYU and works with founders, executives, and teams across technology, fintech, healthcare, AI, nonprofit, and government sectors.

Michelle spent the first decade of her career in the nonprofit sector before moving into high tech and government, giving her a broad lens on the people and performance challenges that show up across very different organizational contexts. She is passionate about what makes people tick—how individuals grow, how teams click, and how leaders create the conditions for both.

She coaches high-potential leaders navigating fast-growth, high-stakes environments—executives stepping into bigger roles, founders scaling through complexity, and leaders operating across cultures and markets. Alongside her individual coaching, she has a passion for team coaching and group dynamics, helping leadership teams strengthen trust, alignment, and collective performance.

Prior to coaching, Michelle led international acceleration programs for Australian startups through the Australian Trade and Investment Commission and launched a travel-tech innovation hub with the Jerusalem Development Authority—initiatives that built global partnerships and delivered leadership development for emerging organizations.

Having lived abroad for over 15 years, she knows firsthand what it takes to adapt, build independence, and stay anchored in your own strengths. A lifelong learner, she is curious about people and culture, and actively seeks out chances to connect and learn from new perspectives. Known for her warm presence and dynamic facilitation, Michelle integrates behavioral science and data-driven frameworks with a human-centered approach, helping leaders enhance self-awareness, flex across contexts, and translate insight into outcomes.
