Andy Stoker

Biography

Andy Stoker's success is owed much to the support and advice of others. Coaching became integral to his professional and personal life 15 years ago when he was assigned a coach. Since then, he's coached and mentored individuals in his network and earned accreditation as an EMCC Practitioner through the CoachAdvisor 'Executive CoachAdvisor' program.

Beginning as an apprentice at a Nuclear Power Station, Andy progressed to become a leader in the IT industry, specifically within Cisco. He's built and led teams globally, prioritizing trust and respect. Working with remote teams and maintaining strong relationships over video is second nature to him.

In addition to coaching executives, Andy has guided early-career professionals, helping them overcome challenges, improve organization, transition to management, and visualize their long-term goals. At Cisco, he established a bi-directional mentoring group, fostering knowledge exchange between different career stages.

His coaching approach is rooted in curiosity and empathy, exploring potential outcomes, and supporting positive change. He strives to create a safe space for transformative conversations that unblock thinking and action. He believes in living a fulfilling life and have seen coaching empower individuals to achieve this.

As a positively creative individual with a touch of dark humor, he deeply values the human side of existence. Challenging traditional thinking to find solutions is his passion, and he genuinely cares about making a difference. Coaching is an honor, and he prioritizes quality-of-life experiences for himself and others. Humans live for around 30,000 days and should seek the right conditions that enable them to embrace and make the most of each day and to do the same for others around us. Having passed the 20,000-day mark, Andy is on a mission!
