Damian has discovered a real talent for delivering training beyond his own cultural transformation and leadership development experiential programs. Having facilitated hundreds of training workshops online for clients such as AstraZeneca and the BBC, the experience has awakened his fervor. He leverages 25 years of stories from the corporate world, his authentic self-deprecating humor, and boundless energy to bring courses to life.
Damian has more than two decades of leadership experience in the Americas, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa for global brands, including Vodafone, Blackberry, Virgin, and Sony, in industries ranging from Oil and Gas to Technology. He was a finance professional who always focused on the human and the commercial. This evolved into a professional portfolio representing his passions and responsibilities in all business areas, culminating in his role as Regional CFO for Sony Mobile MEA, responsible for leading the Finance, HR, and Legal functions across the Middle East and Africa, and then Sales and Marketing for Egypt and North Africa. He was responsible for a total turnover of a billion US dollars while leading teams with head counts in the hundreds.
He established teams and recruited leaders, transforming organizational structures and cultures in buoyant environments during growth. He also owned the difficulties and the human side of restructuring, always leveraging an innate interest in human nature and how people act and influence each other in these situations.
