Biography
Gudrun Lind is an executive coach, team coach and coaching psychologist with over two decades in leadership development. For fifteen of those years she held senior director roles in global pharma, at Actavis, Allergan and Teva, leading talent acquisition, succession planning and talent management for 21,000+ employees across 60+ countries. She partnered directly with executive leadership through mergers, acquisitions and large-scale restructuring.
She works with senior directors, VPs, SVPs and the C-suite when their scope and complexity are expanding faster than their leadership, whether in a bigger role or leading their team through significant change. She helps them grow into the role faster and lead from the fuller range of who they are.
Her clients are capable and successful leaders, known for delivering at speed. In a bigger role, those strengths are easy to overdo: they step in, decide and stay close to the detail, leaving too little room for the team and the strategic work. Gudrun helps them find the balance the moment needs: when to take charge and when to enable, when to go into the detail and when to step back to the bigger picture.
Her approach is evidence-informed and person-centred. Every senior leader needs a confidant: someone outside the system they can speak to without a filter. For her clients, Gudrun is that person. Gudrun is an EMCC-certified Senior Professional Coach and Team Coach, and a qualified FSP Coaching Psychologist. She has coached more than 600 leaders, from mid-sized companies to Fortune 500 firms, and coaches and mentors leaders on INSEAD's flagship executive education programs.
Based in Switzerland and originally from Iceland, she coaches in English and Icelandic.
