Jonathan Burman, with over 25 years of experience in Organizational Development, Leadership, Human Resources, and Talent Management, joins AIIR. He has worked with renowned companies like CIGNA, MASCO Corporation, Johnson & Johnson, and Koch Industries. Recently, as VP of Talent Acquisition & Development for Mondi Group, he contributed to the global paper, packaging, and managed forestry company headquartered in Vienna, Austria. Currently, he serves as a Performance Consultant at Emory University, coaching leaders and teaching courses on various topics.
At CIGNA, Jonathan managed the global succession planning program and led roundtable discussions to evaluate employee performance and potential. He co-managed the Eagle Lodge Assessment Center, which focused on developing leadership potential through experiential exercises, case studies, and video analysis. He has also designed assessment systems for companies like RWJ Barnabas Health, Barnabas Health Care, MASCO Corporation, and Mondi Group, evaluating skills, readiness, and risk for large employee populations.
Jonathan excels in leadership development, creating and facilitating global programs at Johnson & Johnson's Synthes Division. His program, Leadership Connections, was delivered to international leaders and supplemented by coaching using the Center for Creative Leadership's 360 Benchmarks program. With 128 training programs to his credit, he has also copyrighted operational and development models such as 3D Leadership©, CrowdThink©, TRIP Performance Coaching©, and JUICE Neuroscience of Influence©.
Additionally, Jonathan has conducted organization-wide employee opinion/engagement surveys for companies like Barnabas Health Care, MASCO Corporation, and Mondi Group, involving over 40,000 employees. The surveys led to follow-up focus groups, pulse surveys, and coaching sessions to help leaders utilize the feedback for improvement plans.
