Biography
Dr. Kelly Kinnebrew is a clinically trained organizational psychologist with 30 years of experience in executive assessment, leadership development, derailment prevention, and private equity portfolio company value capture.
A business leader herself, Kelly has worked inside top global firms, balancing warmth, expertise, and sharp business focus. Her style has been described as "a direct—and sometimes challenging—blend of advice and expert coaching skill, all with a psychologist's lens that deepens growth with precision and succinctness."
She has held consultant, operator, and training roles with the Center for Creative Leadership, Oracle Consulting, PwC, KPMG, Dartmouth Health, Right Management, and Accenture. She specializes in cross-border organizations, gender dynamics, generational shifts, clinical leadership issues, mid-stage startup strategy, and applied behavioral finance.
Kelly has trained with New Ventures West and is a certifying trainer for the Center for Creative Leadership’s coaching certification program and Benchmarks assessment suite.
She has launched new service lines, founded an in-revenue AI startup in partnership with Microsoft’s AI Lab, and consulted across industries including financial services, tech, healthcare, commercial design, pharma, government, retail, and precision manufacturing.
An active speaker, Kelly has received a U.S. National Science Foundation grant and is a published expert, most recently with Forbes.
She holds a PhD in clinical and organizational psychology from the University of Denver, a master’s in psychology, and a BA in business administration. She speaks and writes French at an intermediate level and lives in Boulder, CO.
