Manuelle Charbonneau brings over 25 years of leadership development, executive coaching, consulting, talent management and international experience to her work with executives, senior leaders, high potentials and entrepreneurs. She is a bicultural and bilingual dual citizen of France and the US, and consults in both languages, in person and via telepresence, to clients dispersed around the world.
Her coaching focuses on stretching leadership capabilities for business results. Described by her clients as a Pragmatic Expert, she leverages her multi-disciplinary knowledge and experience for impact and tangible outcomes. Her clients consistently report an increase in their ability to engage, connect and influence others and lead execution across personality styles, functions, organizational cultures, and national cultures.
Manuelle majored in International Business at the Audencia Nantes School of Management, a Top 5 French business school, and worked internationally in Europe in market research. She has lived or worked in over 27 countries. Her career includes over a decade as a licensed psychotherapist, and several years as a change management consultant with a boutique firm. This was followed by over a decade in human resources in charge of organization development and leadership development for the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California, the $1.6B wholesaler of water for the region.
In addition to her Ph.D. in organizational psychology, Manuelle completed executive courses in cross-cultural communication and global leadership from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, as well as an Executive Leadership Certificate from Cornell University.
Her experience covers a range of sectors including pharmaceutical, biotech, luxury retail, professional and financial services, high-tech, oil & gas, utilities, government, healthcare, manufacturing, aerospace, academia, non-profits, entrepreneurs and startups.
Manuelle served as a board member of the Los Angeles Organization Development Network. She is a member of the Human Resources Strategy Forum, a member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training and Resources, a councilor member of the French-American Chamber of Commerce of New York, a founding member of the French Alumni SoCal network, and a member of the Consulting Psychology Division of the American Psychological Association, where she has been a repeat national conference presenter.
