Mark Frederick, Ph.D., is a global consulting and coaching professional with over 20 years of experience partnering with Global500 and Fortune 1000 companies helping them identify, develop, engage and retain global talent.
Mark has worked closely with leaders, managers and employees from over 60 different countries across 4 continents on global talent management, change management and cultural integration projects. Mark also coaches a wide range of leaders, helping them develop a global mindset and strengthen key competencies essential for global leadership in a complex marketplace. He has a wide range of industry experience including Technology, Medical Devices, Consumer Goods, Automotive, Pharmaceuticals, Energy, Financial Services, Aerospace, and Education.
Mark is a frequent speaker at international conferences focusing on Talent Management, Human Resources and Global Mobility themes. Topics include “Becoming an Effective Global Leader”; “Building High Performing Global Teams”; and “Attracting, Developing and Retaining Global Talent through Company Culture.”
He is both bicultural and bilingually German with a German mother and U.S. American father. Mark has grown up between the two cultures throughout his life and frequently works and travels in Germany. He often serves as a cultural resource specialist for German and U.S. workplace interaction. In addition to his cultural life experience in Germany, Mark has lived and worked in the UK and Singapore on extended global assignments.
Mark is licensed to deliver and interpret a variety of assessment instruments useful for selecting and coaching global talent. His doctoral degree is in Comparative Literature with an emphasis on Psychology and Cultural Studies.
