Martin Costa is an executive coach and organizational development professional with 30+ years of experience working with leaders to develop solutions through the frameworks of business, finance, organizational dynamics, and leadership practice. Martin’s areas of expertise include executive coaching, leadership development, change strategy, career coaching, organization design, and leadership team effectiveness.
In his internal and external work, Martin has been involved in the design and delivery of leadership development programs for various international organizations, as well as a physician leadership development program at a major academic medical center.
Martin’s OD work is highlighted by the launch, leadership, and successful sustainment of a Lean Six Sigma program at a top-ranked academic medical center in New York City. The Lean program spanned the clinical, research, and education missions of the organization, as well as corporate services.
He has also led department redesigns, culture change initiatives, change management programs for IT system implementations, and the design and management of a career development department for a major professional services firm.
In private practice, Martin has coached dozens of leaders in various areas, including: strategy execution, operational excellence, leadership competency development, career development, and succession planning. With a specialty in academic medicine and hospitals, coaching clients' roles in this domain have spanned: Department Chairs, Division Chiefs, Medical Directors, CMOs, CNOs, various other Nursing and Administrative leaders, and hospital executive teams.
