Dr. Paul R. Damiano brings to AIIR over 30 years of experience in executive coaching, consulting, team development, facilitation, and training and development programs. Through his expertise in the behavioral and social sciences, he helps organizations improve business performance by improving the performance of the people in them. He works with individuals, teams, departments, divisions, and entire organizations on any issue where people need to work more effectively and to work more effectively together.
Paul has worked with organizations such as Cole-Haan, Boston Consulting Group, Volvo, VF Corporation, Whirlpool, MasterCard, Exxon-Mobil, Syngenta, Mercedes-Benz, Siemens, Bayer, Xerox, Commercial Metals Company, Microsoft, Kaufman Hall, Oldcastle/CRH, McKinsey, and PwC.
Through delivering custom-designed training programs, team development processes, organizational change initiatives, and an executive coaching practice, he has literally worked with thousands of mid- to senior-level executives from across a broad spectrum of industries and over six continents. He also has training and certification on over 60 assessment instruments, including Benchmarks 360, Voices, MBTI, FIRO-B, Leadership Versatility Index, Team Effectiveness Profile, Hogan Assessment Suite, DISC, Denison Organizational Culture Survey, Bar-on Emotional Intelligence, Group Development Assessment, Change Style Indicator, viaEDGE, Ambiguity Architect, and Influence Indicator.
He is a member of The Society of Industrial & Organizational Psychology (SIOP) and the Society of Consulting Psychologists (SCP). He also serves as adjunct faculty with the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). Prior to founding Good Works Consulting, Paul was a full-time Senior Faculty member at CCL from 1999–2006.
