Biography
Ren Wiebe is a seasoned Executive Coach and Facilitator. He has been part of AIIR Consulting since 2015 and led the creation of the Team Effectiveness solution. Over the past 25 years, he has made significant contributions to the field of leadership development - 15 of those with Canada’s premier Human Capital Consulting firm. His personal mission is "to support and energize the development of leaders and teams." Ren thrives on helping leaders maximize their impact and personal satisfaction. He is a sought-after Facilitator, Trainer, and Coach for executive teams. He also brings deep expertise in a variety of leadership and team assessments.
Ren draws from his business experience as a leader in the Real Estate Development and Professional Services sectors. For 8 years, he held senior roles with a Canadian real estate conglomerate, where he led the syndication program. In these roles he discovered his true passion for the art and science of leadership. In 1991, following this calling, Ren returned to school to pursue postgraduate studies in Applied Psychology, where he focused on coaching and leadership development. Then for 15 years he was a key leader with Canada's premier Human Capital consulting firms- KHC. He was part of the senior team for the Leadership Solutions practice during a period of exponential growth and innovation.
As a coach, Ren helps leaders and teams set clear goals and develop inspiring plans for achieving them. He supports and challenges clients to elevate their thinking and identify solutions that capitalize on natural talents. He has a proven track record of helping leaders and teams thrive in complex business/organizational contexts. He has a particular passion for helping executives elevate their leadership impact and enhance their relationships with direct reports, teams and colleagues. He has also coached more than 50 intact teams to higher performance by facilitating crucial conversations about team culture and productivity.
