Biography
Public speaking pro, attorney, actress, and businesswoman Jordyn Benattar is a wizard at transforming leaders into masterful communicators. Jordyn has worked in and across diverse industries, expertly equipping executives and teams to lead authentically, overcome public speaking anxiety, and excel as concise, compelling, and magnetic speakers who confidently command the room (and the screen).
Jordyn’s unparalleled ability to supercharge leaders’ public speaking skill development stems from her extensive speaking experience. Jordyn has claimed the national title as a top speaker, representing Canada at world public speaking tournaments. She draws on her empathy-driven performance background as an award-winning actress in film and television. Jordyn’s approach to coaching and consulting is further influenced by her legal experience, giving her a multidimensional lens that anchors and supports intelligent, persuasive, and memorable communication.
Since 2012, Jordyn has accelerated the public speaking skills and executive presence of thousands of leaders. From coaching renowned TEDx speakers, to lecturing on Persuasive Storytelling at NYU’s Stern School of Business, to helping CEOs thrive in their increasingly public-facing roles, Jordyn is a communication coaching guru who dedicates her whole self to empowering others to succeed by learning to speak well.
Jordyn previously worked at the law firms Skadden in New York and Goodmans in Toronto. Jordyn negotiated complex contracts, authored articles for high-stakes policy reports and law journals, crafted winning arguments for litigation in court, and prepared corporate documents for mergers, acquisitions, and IPOs.
Outside of AIIR, she is President of Speakewll, a coaching firm dedicated to communication skills training, a highly requested university guest lecturer, a subject matter expert at SkillSmith and at Spoonful, and an Advisor for ANKH Impact Ventures.
