Marion Oberle

Biography

Based in the foothills of Southern California, Marion is a passionate facilitator, coach and key note speaker. She has over nineteen years’ experience working in training and development. In person, she has worked with people in Papua New Guinea, Australia, South America, North America and the Caribbean. Online, she has trained people in over 41 countries. Before working as a facilitator and coach, Marion was the director of sales for an entertainment company. Since then, her coaching and facilitating has been with a wide expanse of business sectors, including technology, pharmaceutical, energy, finance, and media. Some recent clients include Dell, Amgen, BP, TIAA and Viacom.

Outside the corporate world, she has worked with the UCLA Anderson School of Business and Duke Fuqua school of business helping MBA students learn how to adapting and navigate change. Marion also coaches and facilitators for CEO's and presidents of Non-Profit organizations.

With a BA in psychology and theater and an MA in performance, Marion is a dynamic facilitator. Some clients refer to her as a "facili-tainer" because she both entertains and facilitates.

Marion is a certified coach through The Coaching and Positive Psychology Institute and is also DISC certified. Recently, Marion was part of a leadership development program for Shell that received a gold Brandon Hall Group HCM Excellence Award.

When not working, Marion is most likely outside. She loves to hike, bike and surf and you can often find her hiking in the Angeles forest with her Ausie Shepard, her husband and her two teenage boys. Her town, La Canada, is on the edge of the Eaton Canyon fire that devastated the neighboring area. Marion has volunteered as a coach to small business owners as they navigate rebuilding after the fires.
