Biography
Dr. Mira Brancu is a strategic partner to executives and their teams wanting to lead well today and better navigate tomorrow. She’s the CEO and Founder of Towerscope, a social impact leadership, team, and organization consulting firm that has provided streamlined advising and tailored growth tools to hundreds of their team members, equipping them to manage current challenges and better handle future ones. To this work, Mira brings 20+ years of experience in academia and healthcare, and an award-winning career in multiple leadership roles at the US Department of Veterans Affairs, one of the largest organizations in the United States.
A consulting psychologist, Mira is an Associate Professor at Duke University’s School of Medicine, a contributor to Psychology Today, and host of The Hard Skills podcast, ranked in the top 10% globally. She’s also the author of the Millennials’ Guide to Workplace Politics and its companion workbook, designed to help leaders (of any generation) navigate complex systems.
Mira’s commitment to advancing women’s leadership and inclusivity has earned her multiple accolades, including the 2021 Corporate Philanthropy Award from Triangle Business Journal, the 2022 Hero Award by A Lotta Love, and recognition as one of North Carolina’s Top 50 Influential Women in 2021. In 2024, she was elected Fellow of the American Psychological Association for her national contributions to the field of psychology.
A licensed psychologist, Mira holds a PhD in clinical psychology, a Master’s in counseling, and certificates in business essentials, DEI, Lean Six Sigma, and coaching. She is also a founding member of Forefront, powered by MG100 Coaches Agency.
